I've been wondering why we've not had many eggs for the last two days. My elderly Pekin has gone broody, but I've been lifting her off the nest a couple of times a day, including at egg collecting time. Just now, rather just lifting her out, I also lifted her wings up and found 4 eggs! I'm really impressed that she didn't drop them and now feel rather bad for taking them away from her :(
