acprc
Hi all, Just wanted to post this message becuase we lost our six chickens to a fox over the weekend. We have had a Cube for the last 4 years with no problems. We live in the middle of a town in a terraced house with 6 feet of fencing all around the garden. For the last 3 years the chickens have roamed free in a lrage area of the garden returning to their run at night. We didn't lock either the run door or the cube door. Over the weekend a fox has got in and taken the lot. We sadly only found two and a half bodies in the garden and our neighbours found one half buried in their garden. I guess the post is to make sure you don't get complacent like we did. No sightings or reports of a fox in 9 years of being here, high fencing etc isn't a guarantee. Be warned, if one or two get saved then that will be a bonus. Thanks Adam
