Indispensable Hobbes Posted June 9, 2013 Share Posted June 9, 2013 I'd love to keep rare breeds and be part of maintaining or improving numbers. I'm still thinking about getting hens. We went to a friends house today and he's got 4 14week old chickens, 3 hens and a cock (oops) I guess thats the risk when your get unsexed chicks. I could have sat by the hen house for hours watching them scratch about. Anyways, going a bit off track. I am looking for an egg hen but I will defo look at rare breeds if I go for it.
