blueandwhite
Hi had my new chooks 8 days; they are being introduced to my remaining girl Phoebe. After initial nightmare of much noise, pecking, jumping on new girls and feather pulling (all by Phoebe!) there has been less of this as the week has gone on. They have FR in the garden for longer periods and yesterday were there most of the day with me watching. Still a bit of hassling but new girls have learned to get out of the way. The new girls have been sleeping and living in the shed when not out. Phoebe is in original omlet and run. So when do I risk putting them all in the run? I have read that I should put the new girls in the eglu at night when they are all sleepy but I put a football in the nestbox and Phoebe kind of lays against it plus she is a massive Bluebelle. How do I get them past her? Or should I just go for it and put them all in the run as it starts to get dark and hope for the best? Thanks
