mcfee2
we got Crocus and Phlox last Friday at 12 weeks old, along with Daisy and Coriander the day before. I moved the eglu into the netting alongside the cube on Wednesday in the hope that she might perk up with more shade in the afternoon and evening, but I'm really worried about her. I know Araucanas are meant to be aloof, but she's really subdued. I can't see anything physically wrong with her but she just seems to be hiding away from the others, in the eglu at the back, head down. she seems really skinny in comparison to the others and head down most of the time. I'm not sure I've seen her eating much in the last few days, and she didn't even react when I put chopped grapes and cucumber in the run this afternoon to try to cool them down. I can't see anything wrong with her, and although there were two really runny poos in the eglu when I cleaned it out I'm Wednesday I can't be sure it's her that did them. what am I missing? is it normal for a 12 week old in this heat... or is there something I should be doing? I'm a bit lost where to start to make her happy, please give me something to try?
