debbiedoobs Posted July 29, 2013 Share Posted July 29, 2013 Hi, i'm thinking about keeping a cockerel so i can hatch my own eggs. I have silkies and would love to have a Splash. I already have 2 black, 1 blue, 1 gold, 1 white, 2 partridge and a 2week old lavender chick. From what i can figure from some genetic coding online that black x blue would give half blue, half black. Blue x blue would give 25% black, 25 % splash, 50% blue. Splash x blue gives half blue, half splash. If my lavender chick turns out to be a cockerel then what colours would i get?
