libby22
Hi. I am not sure about the broody part, but now again one of my girls lays a soft egg that she has trouble passing. All that will come pass is the urates and sometimes some egg white if the egg has been scrunched up inside her. The egg doesn't have a shell, it is just the membrane and comes out eventually like a strip of chewing gum. However, she will stand still at this time, as it must be uncomfortable and goes off her food. It tends to move after a few hours and she is back to her old self though. However, I have noticed that until the uncomfortable spell passes, she won't sit down. Hope this helps a little.
sjp
check for red mite on her and in the broody coop is she a first timer broody by any chance? as it's unusual for a broody to poo on the eggs I get the odd time when the broody is on lock down that she poos at the back of the nest but the eggs should/are under her middle to the front of her some broodies need to be lifted of the nest at least every 2 days to eat drink dust bath and poo
