As far as I know, even though it looks completely wrong, it is perfectly normal. Presume you have given them a good check over and found no sour or impacted crops? Beantree Posted April 14, 2014 Share Posted April 14, 2014 I've just googled 'chicken feces pictures' Debbie and the first site has loads of pictures. Some are a bit scary. In my experience if the poo is bright green it is an infection or internal stress or they are on antibiotics. But you did say dark green which is normal.
