I have acquired some fresh smelling cyprus woodchips and am wondering if they are safe to use in my chicken run?

Just noticed this post. Sorry for not replying sooner. Cant imagine there would be any problem in having cyprus wood chips. If they are very soft and "green" they might not last very long but I am sure your hens will love scratching around in them. Enjoy Ax

There are bits of evergreen leaf amongst the chips which I imagine could be toxic. Might the chickens eat this?

Hi, cant imagine they will eat it. I had a load of leylandii chips in my run a while back. Smelt good, didnt eat them, would be happy to use again.Ax
