jesschicken24 Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 We didn't warn our neighbors that we were getting chickens as we've put up with their cats pooing in our garden and their dogs pooing all over the street (and not cleaning it up) and barking at night for years. Sometimes they randomly like to sing everyone a little song at about 7.30 in the morning but the only one they annoy is me! As for my neighbors they either can't hear them or like the noise (as long as we don't get a cockerel). I'm a very lazy chicken keeper too but my girls don't smell unlike the bf's uncles dog who you can smell a mile away! I'd also much rather clean up chicken poo than dog poo!
