Chunkin
Hi there everyone I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself here - I am new to beekeeping and am about to set up my new Beehaus today (dodging the rain!). I know from when I started keeping chickens years ago what a fabulous help it was to be part of the Omlet community and learn from and support each other so I am hoping you guys out there in the world of beekeeping will be the same. I live in Oxfordshire with two hens currently, four dogs, two cats and three ponies. Hoping to add some bees really soon...
Old Speckled Hen
Hello and welcome to the fascination of keeping bees. I hope omelet don't mind me telling you but this forum is quite dead as far as bees go. Take a deep breath and go to beekeeping forum.co.uk. There are plenty of people there who keep long deep hives of varying descriptions. Their antipathy to the Beehaus has largely been redirected to the Flowhive so any advice you seek will get pretty quick attention. Good luck
Carlp
Hi there, I'm quite a new beekeeper as well with a beehaus hive, as the poster above said this forum is not very active, but you might wantto consider the joining http://www.valeanddownlandbees.org.uk/ as I think they are the nearestt to you in Oxfordshire. They have been very helpful to me this year. If you have any questions please ask.
