Shell1987 Posted April 26, 2018 Share Posted April 26, 2018 Hi all! I’m new here, please be nice! 😂 So in June I’ve decided to buy ducks! Never owned ducks or chickens so I’m currently hopeless! Ive sorted their house out, the run is currently being built and I have a brooder box ready for the ducklings when I finally get them. I’ve done so much research that I feel that my head might explode if I read anymore! However I’m now totally confused about duck feed and where to get it! I’m sorted for chick crumb but it’s the duck feed I’ve now stuck on, there’s so many sites and so many different food that I just don’t know what I’m buying. Some sites say layer pellets and then some say not to give them that because it isn’t healthy for them. scarlettohara Posted April 28, 2018 Share Posted April 28, 2018 (edited) Hi and welcome 🙂 Ducks are easy to look after, they like fresh water everyday and somewhere to take a bath. Fancy feed waterfowl pellets are good. Make sure the chick crumb is non medicated. I currently have an Aylesbury and a pair of buff calls.
