Mel (& Paul)
Is it just me or does anyone else have a really odd look to the forum pages?? I cant really explain it, other that everything has really large font and isnt easy to see new topics etc = I know that the forum was down yesterday, but is it my computer or is there a problem with the forum (please dont tell me its meant to look like this because it looks yucky!!) Cate in NZ
It's not your computer Mel, 'cos it looks just the same on mine. James has put on another thread that he needs to work on the styling this evening, so hopefully the forum will be back to it's usual self tomorrow
Nicola H
All looks very strange to me too so don't worry Mel your computer is OK.........
Mel (& Paul)
Phew!!!!! I was really struggling with the "new look". Thought perhaps the computer was sulking with lack of use - day off sick on Thursday, so no use then, and forum down on Friday. I thought it might have forgotten the forum.......... (PS went to my la-di-da Legal Executives Annual Ball last night in Bournemouth and sat next to Barrister who owns a Eglu!!! We bored everyone else at the table with talk of chickens. I even did my best running across the grass impression (even more fantastic when done in long evening gown and high heels........ )
Nicola H
Sounds like a good bash Mel it is always nice to meet another Eglu owner......
Mel (& Paul)
Now wouldnt that be a good idea..........
Mrs Frugal
Don't worry folks! I've just been talking to James and things should settle down. It's the change to the new server so just bear with it and it'll all be tickety boo in no time! Welcome back everyone!! I've missed you!! Mel (& Paul)
My only relief was this Barrister last night so at least I could talk to another eglu owner!!! (her husband works at Dyson and she says there is a stricking similarity between the non-upright dysons and the eglus (as long as the chickens dont get confused I've missed everyone too - the only good thing with the forum being down is that I havent got MILLIONS of posts to go through
Cate in NZ
Sounds an interesting idea- interchangeable Eglus & Dysons . My chickens have started roosting wherever takes their fancy, so maybe it's a good thing that I haven't got a cylinder style Dyson Love the idea of the running through the grass act Mel, maybe you should start checking up on the girls in long dress and high heels too- just to hone up the act I've just discovered a minor glitch on my computer since the forum change. I sent a couple of PM's, but the forum didn't alert me to replies. I didn't think anything of it though, just assuming messages either hadn't been picked up or weren't worthy of replies. Then I logged off the forum, went to check my email, and got messages on email from Omlet to inform me that I had several PM's . That's not happened before. Maybe I'll need to change my settings somehow, but I don't think I'll do anything until forum's back to normal
Mel (& Paul)
Yes, and I am getting an e-mail from James each and every time someone posts a topic I am still trying to work out how to sort that one out
Cate in NZ
Ooooh, you're going to end up with one heck of a full inbox
Mel (& Paul)
I know, I logged on to do all my personal e-mails today and thought - wow, James must really like me - all the e-mails he sent me Perhaps he needs an official judge for the next cake / home made wine / sloe gin / chocolate competition
Mrs Frugal
Hi Mel, The "always notify me of replies" had been clicked in your profile somehow. I've turned it off so you shouldn't get any more e-mails from James now - unless you want me to switch them back on again, Mrs Popular ! buffie
It makes me feel sort of sea sick, very strange. Glad we getting back to normal though. Most upset when I went to log on last night. BBx
