Mrs T
My little Izzy has stopped laying this week we have had no eggs for 1 week from her. Whizzy is still laying as normal one little egg each day!. I am feeding them on layers mash as I was told its better for them, although I thinks it makes more mess. Izzy looks well in herself and is still eating everything in the garden, although I have noticed quite a few feathers inside the eglu!. Should I be worried about her or is this just a blip
Egluntyne
Are you sure she hasn't started laying in the garden? Have a hunt round, especially under shrubs etc. You might just find a clutch of eggs!
The Pearsons
My two pure bred hens have stopped laying. The lady at the farm says only half hers are in lay now as well (mongrel hens laying and the others have stopped) so I think it could be going into moult and the lack of sunlight.
