In the last few days I have noticed egg yolk in the nest box and no eggs.  Today I saw one of my bantams being bullied off the nest by the other hens (mixture of bantams and larger breeds) ,  One hen then grabbed the egg and ran off with it with the others in pursuit.  Any ideas please.
