Sharonelaine Posted May 17, 2020 Share Posted May 17, 2020 Hi I am making enquiries on behalf of my aunt who keeps a couple of hens. They are well looked after and she has had hens for many years. The latest to are Moran cross about 1 year old. One of the hens has developed brown spots/patches on the top part of her head, the red bit, is this called a cone? They are well fed with a varied diet including plenty of corn, fruit and vegetables. Any ideas? Could this be deficiency in diet or a illness perhaps.
