Plum jam that wouldn't set.....Omlet to the rescue! Hooray!

I made a huge vat of plum and mulled wine jam this afternoon (WI recipe) but I couldn't make the damn stuff set! It didn't help that my Prue Leith book said 'if you're new to jam making, use plums - they never fail!' grr!


Anyway, I was in despair and moaning about how little support I was getting from Richard since he was just fiddling about with the computer.......then he announced that he'd trawled through here and found the answer!


I added lemon juice and boiled it again....and hey presto MY JAM IS SET!!!


I love omlet!!
