raffik
My Belina has been laying an egg every other day since last week (although she's stopped now ) Her first egg was 41g and then this rose to 45g before she stopped. I didn't think they would lay much bigger than this but Ive just read someone's post referring to a 60g egg as "small"! And then someone elses' egg was 130g! Are Belina's eggs tiny? When will she start laying bigger ones?
Helly Welly
They gradually get bigger and bigger, although some chooks lay bigger eggs than others. My blue layer is still laying quite small eggs but i'm sure they will get bigger. One of my gingers lays eggs which are now almost completely round and quite big, it must be very painful. Even she started off laying small eggs though
