Tweety
For the past few nights I have found one of my bantams on top of the cube run instead of being tucked up with all the others girls inside the cube. Previously she had been sleeping inside an eglu with my other bantams, but they have all moved into the cube with my big girls - presumably it is warmer in there on these very cold nights. The cube is inside a stable, which has been heavily fortified against predators so I am not too worried about safety. I have been more worried about her being lonely or getting cold, so have been putting her inside the cube with the others. I don't like to think of her being out there on her own but am I being silly? I have seen her on the ladder, so she obviously knows how to get into the cube. Should I leave her to her own devices, or should I keep putting her in?
Egluntyne
I'd keep putting her in. She might get cold on her ownsome. She'll be happier I'm sure cuddled up with the others.
