Can Bantams live in a Cube?

Recommended Posts

I have 2 pekin bantams, 1 Silkie, 1 large Maran, 1 small hamburg and two gingernut rangers in my cube and they all get along fine. I would recommend a slow introduction though as the bantams did seem a target when they first went in - we let our chooks out to free range most of the day though - so they got used to each other whilst still being able to make a sharp exit if need be!!

I have 1 Speckled Sussex bantam , 1 Buff Rock bantam and 4 Sebrights living in a Cube with my big girls and they are fine. As hpops says, a long slow introduction is the best way to go, so I would recommend that you keep them separated whilst they get used to each other.
