😆hi everyone , started keeping ; chickens in February, does anyone have any info on skin conditions to humans ? If any .
I am covered in rashes and spots and I thought I would find out if there were any skin problems regarding the keeping of chickens

I did meet someone who was allergic to chickens and had to get rid of them very quickly (they came to us). No idea what his symptoms were, but they do create a fair bit if fine dust from their feathers. If the chickens had mites of some description they might possibly be transferred to humans, but normally infestations are 'host specific', so infect only chickens. You will need to see your doctor and have tests for allergies as it is more likely to be something else. Perhaps any cleaning agents you are using?
