(embarrasingly so) It is simply a piece of hose pipe, just over an inch long, cut diagonally on one end Place the piece of pipe, slant side down, in the drain hole from the top, with the longest side towards the back. Fit it so it clears the back panel. The water will travel down the piece of pipe and out through the drainage channel. This will need doing on both sides. Hope that helps people. It seems to have worked for us, even under a hosepipe blast.
