Rolo Rabbit
I was really pleased to see that the girls had made their first dust bath underneath the Pittisporum tree until I realised it's exactly the same place that Muffin (cat) uses as her toilet. I'm not going to want to do much cuddling with them until this stops. Any ideas?!
Eyren
Well for starters I would rake/dig around the area and remove any visible cat poo! You could also spray the area with something citrussy to persuade Muffin to "go" elsewhere - the chickens probably won't mind the smell of citrus, but cats hate it! You could also sprinkle some red mite powder (I believe it contains lavender and tea tree oils?) in the area - it will improve the efficacy of the dustbathing and might mask Muffin's scent a bit so she stops thinking of it as "her" area.
