I have decided i am going to have a go at making my own after all it is only a bit of plastic you can make your own rain cover, i think it is the quality of worms you use that will make the difference...........Different worms do different jobs I will either buy my worms from worms direct or get some for free from the stables were Emily goes riding their compost heap is full of them ..................

 

I will let you know how I get on.........................

Hey Nicola, you could do a whole storyboard on how you made it and your progress (is that like a blog - I'm new to all this )

You live in a lovely part of the country. My mum lived in Barnton for a few years and only moved back down south when she found out I was expecting. I know she keeps looking at the house prices up there

The WW raincover is made from a breathable waterproof fabric, not plastic!! Air needs to be able to circulate - u can leave the raincover on all the time but if you use plastic you will have to keep taking it off to let the wormery 'breathe'.
