snaps
I've just put down some grass seed in half our chicken patch as our two have systematically wrecked every plant including a lot of ground elder except some lovage (or borage - can never remember which is which) and it's mostly bare earth. Does anyone know when it might be strong enough for them to use?
Tessa the Duchess
I've just put down some grass seed in half our chicken patch as our two have systematically wrecked every plant including a lot of ground elder except some lovage (or borage - can never remember which is which) and it's mostly bare earth. If your chickens have destroyed your ground elder you should be pleased, it took me nearly 3 years to get rid of mine. Tessa
snaps
I could kiss their dear little beaks for the ground elder - it's everything else. And three years to get rid of ground elder???? We've been here over twenty and still it comes back. Permanent war. Tried everything and only just starting to win.
