Please advise me

Recommended Posts

I'm a little worried. My snowbell has laid a softie in the evening for the past two days despite having always had grit and limestone flour. I thought it was just a blip as she's still in her first week of laying so wasn't worried. She seems to be a little off colour now though. Tonight just as they went in to bed she layed a double yolker but with no shell. Will the shell come out later? It looked like there was possibly some soft shell stuck half out, but she wasn't making any effort to pass it, it could just of been soggy feather though ( i couldn't really see as she was tucked up in bed). Have left her there for the night, but what should I do in the morning? Is it possible there is no shell and she just has a soggy bottom?
