Steph101 Posted April 10, 2008 Share Posted April 10, 2008 Georgina, our second top chicken, has gradually started to lay smaller eggs over the past couple of weeks. The other two, Barbara and Lulu, are laying whoppers. This morning I thought we'd had an ostrich in the nesting box after Barbara had been in there, it was so huge! What do I do about George? Mrs Frugal Posted April 10, 2008 Share Posted April 10, 2008 It could just be because she's new to laying, Steph. You either get whopping great double yolkers at first or neat little eggs. My Sussex Girls lay neat little eggs where Jenny and Clarry when they first came into lay used to provide me with double yolkers quite often at first. They'll settle down so don't worry .
