GEB
Well, ever since my girls have been able to free range more the feather pulling has stopped . I'm so pleased as i really didn't want her to be in a bumper bit all the time and the plucked chickens tummy is growing feathers again. I take this to mean that despite them having a big run with perches, dust bath, veggies hung up etc the feather puller was bored. Happily she seems fine now. However this worries me that in the winter when they won't get out hardly at all (they can only free range when I'm home, in the winter they'll be in bed before i get home) she will revert to this behaviour. I know it's a way off yet, but anyone any ideas what I can do in the winter months to keep her occupied so I don't get this problem again?
