Strepsy
The handle for my Eglu door doesn't sit in the middle of the circular gap, it's a bit fiddly to open. Is anyone elses the same? Or is there anyway to adjust it? I'm worried that I'm making it worse by having a chain round the middle of the Eglu to lock, and it's too late to get my money back now and get a wooden one that I can lock properly. I have emailed Omlet for suggestions about security after our theft but they haven't even emailed me back to offer sympathy, nevermind an answer. My lovely Eglu's just not my lovely Eglu anymore with the chain sat round it.. Am thankful that my girls all seem happy and healthy but other things just getting me down a bit. ubereglu
I had this problem a while back too. It was caused because the eglu wasn't sat on a flat surface, so I wedged a bit of paving slab underneath and the problem's solved now. Hope that helps and I'm sorry about your theft. TAJ
Just a thought on security - they do make a metal mesh to go over rucksack style bags (diferent sizes) to make them secure for transporting by plane - perhaps that sort of thing may work better than the chain? You could also discuss a replacement door with Omlet? Tracy
