abwsco Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 OK, given that we've already had 18 eggs since Sunday I think I need to start baking again BUT the eggs are all different sizes with some of them being rather large (bigger than any shop bought large I've seen) How do I work out how many eggs I will need for a recipe. Lesley Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 Eggs in recipes usually work on a 2oz/50g egg (in shell). Just work out the total weight of egg required and then mix and match your eggs until you have that weight. We have to do this with bantam eggs.
