How often do you need to change the wood chippings on the run floor ? I have two chickens that spend a lot of time in the run. Is it an idea to sprinkle stalosan on the chippings to keep things safe ?

It really depend on the state of the run Andy. I use aubiose and if it stays dry (ha ha) then every 6 weeks or so.

 

I do use stalsosan now, only managed to get some a few weeks ago. I sprinkle it over the slabs, then aubiose on top.

 

Are you able to do a 'mini' clean and just replace the top layer?

I thought about using auboise but not to keen on covering the run !
