Drastic Action

I got fed, that's it...

Daisy was still being picked on this morning and running off to the eglu to escape Rosie, so when I went out to clean them I shut the door and have made them get on. I don't know if this is right or cruel but since then peace seems to have descended.

They're all sitting together preening at the mo. I've rigged a mirror up on the door to the run this morning and this has created such amusement for them. I swear Maisie is checking her feathers out to make sure they're in the right place.

Anyway we'll see what happens...

It's alarming to watch one getting picked on but most of the time things work out. If Daisy isn't too small in comparison to the others she will probably instinctively find ways to cope.

My Truffle is very obviously at the bottom of the pecking order and has been from Day 1. She does spend some of the time chilling in the back of the Cube run, however she still manages to mix and mingle with the rest. I think that they'll all get along better once they are all in lay.

Good luck! I think you've done the right thing.
