Unless you have a cockerel you won't have any chicks inside the eggs, so don't worry.

As to who has laid which egg. If you only have a couple of hens and they lay different coloured eggs, you will be able to tell by watching who disappears into the nesting box, and looking to see what sort of egg they lay.
