Ain't Nobody Here
Thanks to my exhaustive reading of the advice on the forum, I am feeling confident to deal with my first ever chicken problem . Molly is showing classic broody signs so we've been turfing her out of the nest box, dunking her rear end, putting a brick in the nestbox and closing the eglu door once they've all laid. The icepacks are in the freezer too, just in case. Luckily ES is at home (on study leave) so he can keep an eye on her and collect eggs as soon as they're laid. Thanks, everyone, for all the advice - I knew it would come in handy eventually .
