The question is what should I use for them to scratch about in? At the minute they have a little 5' x 2' 6'' run with woodchip on paving slabs, which'll get moved across. We'll leave some earthy patches in it around our apple tree and chicken proof bush. As well as that we'll make a raised area like a mini patio as they like ours so much and a tiny compost heap for food s"Ooops, word censored!"s to go in. What should the rest of it be?
