Robinia frisia

we have one of these that we want to give away on freecycle to make room for a damson tree but does anyone know if it's okay to dig it up at this time of year? i don't want to kill it :?

Not sure what it is Poet, but most things are OK being transplanted at this time of year - new growth at it's peak etc. To give it the best chance, don't dig it out until the last minute, make sure you get a good root ball, water well before digging and wrap roots in a plastic bag with well soaked soil/compost. Then the faster it is replanted the better. :D
