Wasn't sure whether I had one or two hens laying!!

 

I HAVE HAD TWO EGGS TODAY

 

Almost as exciting as getting my first..

 

Just get fed up of people asking to buy eggs off me at work. I would need 100+ hens to supply the demand. Wish I had never told anyone that I had got them.. But, how could I keep it quiet eh!!!

 

People think I am wierd when I tell them I cook pasta for them and buy cabbages at 89p. Some take the mickey, but keep asking for eggs!!!

Congratulations h&s . I know what you mean, once word gets out you almost have a queue of customers round the block . You have to be very selective (I started off by giving hand-picked people just 2 eggs!)

There is one woman in particular who has showed a lot of interest and always asks how I am getting on with them, so I took her 3 eggs in today. One (cause I am soft) was the biggest laid yet! I am kicking myself now! Do you think the big egg could have been a double yolker? Will be gutted if it turns out to be my first and I gave it away!!
