Hi all

 

Can anyone tell us how high the superglug should be placed for Pekins and how high for Hybrids?

And do all chickens 'catch on' to the idea of 'teats' ?

Our hens haven't mastered the nipple feed superglug thing, and much prefer the original glugs.

 

They know how to use it but struggle to get enough water,

 

I think it needs to be high enough for them to be pecking from below rather than from the side.

 

I think our girls are just a bit thick.

Mine are too, but I haven't really pushed it. Gave them a traditional drinker to get them to drink. I think you have to get them to stretch their necks as well for the Super Glug.

I think we'll just get a galvanised one, Then I wont be wondering all day if they are getting enough water!
