Due to the extra height that we have in cubes, has anyone constructed a mezzanine level to give the birds extra area?

 

I have been thinking of constructing something but just wondered if onyone else had ideas? or already constructed something.

I did have one til I extended again and adapted the door. I never got around to putting it back in

I saw photos of it on the gallery and thought it was brilliant, but I wonder whether the hens actually use it?

I know it sounds silly, but mine don't use their perche at the moment. Is it worth doing the mezzanine?
