I haven't been on here for a while but so excited to post this. This morning, our girls were in their run waiting for me to take out their porridge when an almighty squawking arose. It was so loud I wondered if it was our girls as I've never heard them this loud before. I went out in case a cat or fox was worrying them (although never had problems with this yet) and Mop, our gold laced wyandotte was sort of squatting on the run floor. When I opened the egg port, lo and behold, a tiny creamy egg. Cue great excitement in our household.

And then, when I got home, another one. A tiny peachy coloured one, must have been one of our pekins. What are the chances of two coming into lay on the same day. I am so proud of our lovely girls.
