Best liner/ bedding for drop tray

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Tracy and her husband who did a fantastic hen party this morning - i had a fab time, as did my mum and i'm sure the other two ladies did too. We had lovely tea and cake, met her gorgeous chickens, were amused by their party piece (running round the garden fighting over spaghetti) and just got some great help and advice.

She was amazingly helpful and gave us some good local suppliers - so thank you for a lovely morning.

Anyone else thinking on going on one of these who is local to Cheltenham - i would highly recommend!

My pleasure - always good to talk chickens. Kaye went 'shopping' on the way home too, so a few more gardens will have hens running around them very soon I think.

yes i`d like to add my thanks too. we all had a lovely time, learnt loads and as said lots of fun watching them run around!

i certainly did go shopping! got all my little bits now so all i have to do is order the house and the hens!

Pleased you decided to take the plunge - how was the Domestic Fowl Trust? Hope to you found it ok with the SatNav?!! I certainly facncy a trip there myself!

Make sure you post on here when you finally decide whether you are going to get a cube or eglu and when your hens arrive with you.
