chickenvirgin
I read the above in the omlet bumpf. Is that true? And how big do the bags have to be? I'm also assuming that the bags have to be cloth??? I've already allowed visiting males (human only) to urinate in the garden! I must be mad Edited May 19, 2008 by Guest
Egluntyne
I read somewhere to use old pop socks (simply because the are cheap and an openish weave) and to hang them in bushes etc around the Eglu. Very attractive. Ask your hair dresser if you can sweep her floor.
*mummy_hen*
The best thing to put the hair into is tights - cut the feet off old skin coloured tights and pack it with hair and just hang them around the boundaries - my mum does this for her ducks and geese and *touch wood* has never had any problems - being rather superstitious, i'm willing to give it a go!! Egluntyne
Rather like recycling pop socks then.
*mummy_hen*
Hehe - yes, and you can even ask for your own hair back at the hairdressers when they snip it off!! I will.... but then again my hairdresser is my dad!
chickenvirgin
Thanks everyone - i'll give that a go before the chickens arrive as there seems to be a rather large fox taking up residence at the end of my garden!
