Hello, I'm relatively new to the forum, so do hope I'm posting in the right place.

 

I live in Sudbury, Suffolk. Barbara at Omlet has sent me the Guide to buying chickens and also a list of breeders, but none of them she has personal experience of and I wondered IF there was anyone out there who lived in Suffolk who had bought chickens and could recommend some good breeders? I'd be super grateful. Thank you!

You could try the Hen House at Thorndon near Eye off the A140 .

 

Lovely selection of chickens and they are well looked after. They have a website. The owner is really knowlegable and you can phone them up if you have any concerns about the health of your chooks.

We recommend The Hen House at Thorndon, Eye, Suffolk aswell. Really friendly people and very helpful, especially if you are a first timer. Loads of birds to choose from.
