The past couple of weeks my 3 hens have been broody.

Well I think we escaped lightly from the whole experience as its only lasted just over 2 wks and they are back to their usual selves! :)

Its so nice to see them racing to get out in the morning and scratching around with everyone.

One of them still sits for a couple of hours each day but seems to miss the others so gives up ( I think she's just a copy-cat as she didnt go broody till a wk after the others! )

We didnt use broody cages or 'dunking' to snap them out of just lifted them out of teh nest box every couple of hours.

Just thought Id bring a ray of hope to anyone going through an unwanted broody phase at the moment!
