Well I think we escaped lightly from the whole experience as its only lasted just over 2 wks and they are back to their usual selves! Its so nice to see them racing to get out in the morning and scratching around with everyone. One of them still sits for a couple of hours each day but seems to miss the others so gives up ( I think she's just a copy-cat as she didnt go broody till a wk after the others! ) We didnt use broody cages or 'dunking' to snap them out of just lifted them out of teh nest box every couple of hours.
