*mummy_hen*
Hi All, When we collected our ex-batts, we bought some mash off of the co-ordinators which the girls love, it is like a powder but with bits of dried peas and other things in it too, not just the normal grey powder that layers mash can sometimes be. Emailed our co-ordinator to ask what it is called and he said it is made by a company called Gablestock. Any ideas where we could find out where this is stocked or whether it is possible to buy online as the only website we could find was for the company itself which is based in Nottinghamshire! Hen Watch
I don't have exbats so can't advise on what best they eat mash vs pellets. You could ring Gablestock after the Bank Hol and ask for their stockist list. They don't seem to have an email contact on their website. Or if you want to stick to layers mash, there are loads of other manufacturers to choose from and if you get a bag of something else make sure you introduce it gradually by mixing it with some of the Gablestock stuff and see if they like it. Take a look at this too about where to get feed from. http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7533#top
