hasnett
my girls have been showing signs of broodyness for the past 3 weeks. i have left all 3 of them to sit it out and have had no eggs!! i do make them come off the nest at least once a day, when they eat and drink a little before running back in. today i noticed that all of their combs have shrunk and are pale....chocs poo was also really runny and i'm sure i saw something wriggling in it. i have put some vermex in there water, what else can i do? any help or advice greatly received!! thanks, sx
Tessa the Duchess
When my Annie went broody for a long time her comb became smaller and went pale pink, I was told it was a hormonal thing. If you saw something wriggling in her poo then most likely they need worming. Flubuvent is available online and in specialist shops, they need dosing for 7 days it is very good stuff and will kill off any worms they have. Hope this helps. Ain't Nobody Here
Tessa, have you got vents on the brain? I'd google "flubenvet" if I were you, Hasnett .
