rachel m Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 you may have seen my post last week about nigella being poorly. well, she has been on flubenvet and is now back to her chicken ways, but seems to have stopped laying. last egg was on monday while she was still pretty unwell, but no eggs since then. is it common for chickens to stop laying for a while after illness? TAJ Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 You will see from my posting today my Rye was poorly and stopped laying for 2 weeks because of this - when she arrived she had started laying, but just moving to us stopped her laying for 2½ weeks.
