Jules.
I'm going to have to dig out my policy to make sure that my cube & run will be covered I know that my run won't be able to be stolen, but my cube is a different matter- I have a padlocked gate & a sensor light- maybe I ought to review my security. Olly
hmm, that's an interesting thought. I hadn't considered whether the Cube was covered. Just checked the policy, (I'm with the Post Office this year) and it says any item in the open within the boundaries of the property is covered against theft, but only up to £250 per single item. I've got an excess of £50, so I'd be left a bit out of pocket. I'm not too worried, it can't be seen from outside the garden, and it would have to be dismantled to get it out of my garden so it would be quite hard to do. I think I'll take a risk on that. Jules.
Hubby tells me our single item limit is £500 so that's ok for us.
Janty
I had never thought of covering the cubes or eglu on the insurance. Mind you, I couldn't begin to imagine how much noise moving a cube with three runs attached would make. Next door would be out in a flash.
