jos
Hi, I've had my ex batts nearly three weeks. One of them has been really off colour today.... lethargic, tail not down but sort of horizontal, generally looking out of sorts. She has eaten something and had a bit to drink. I haven't seen her poo but one of the others came up near me as I was talking to the poorly on and did a really smelly browny poo. So I just wondered if they were more likely to have tummy problems while they were getting used to all the different foods they are now having while both freeranging and having treats? jos

Why not keep her in the run for a day or two, and give her just pellets and drinking water, with a handful of bokashi bran if you have some to hand. If it is just the squits, that should settle it quite quickly. A dollop of probiotic yoghurt could be introduced after a day or so, If it persists, I'd be inclined to take her to the vet. Cazjohn
Hi Jos, We certainly had some problems with ours in the beginning, I think it's partly free ranging, treats etc but also they are routinely given medication in their food and suddenly they are in rehab!
