Poorly chicken

Hi there!

 

I rescued an ex-batt and she is very perky and active but she has a considerably higher body temperature than my other hens. She is far from burning up and is eating and drinking, I wonder if it is because she doesnt have a full body of feathers, so I can feel her body more?

 

Any advice would be helpful, thanks for reading and oh here is a photo of her!

Does she stick her wings out in an effort to cool down, rather like when they are dust bathing?

 

If not, and she is eating and drinking, she is probably OK.
